The Mortgage settlement claim deadline was extended until January 18, 2013, but you may still be able to complete a claim form. 1. Thanks so much for visiting the blog. Actually it is not ONLY those foreclosed on to apply. The settlement is regarding process and procedures taken (or not) to for home retention.

Granted some homeowners are currently in foreclosure or short sale now, but still in the home NOT foreclosed rest assured the good thing is those who did misunderstand and did not file will still receive some compensation per occ.gov. See item #9 on website below being "in" foreclosure during a date span does not mean you lost your home or will loose it. FYI sometimes the lender will cancel a foreclosure our homeowners work with programs such as ours to save their home.
